Arnaud's done it! It's been an epic day and when the smoke cleared he was one of the clear leaders. Waiting for hours just stealing a blind there and then, he didn't back down or play scared for example with 66 when the chip leader limped push from UTG, (he called and won against A2s) to put him back in contention
Later his KK holded vs 99 and he finally got chips to play. He had Palovic tilting by the end and after a couple of big stressful (for me on the rail) posflop pots he had ammassed a huge stack going on the final table!
Here are the chip counts:
Seat 1 – Juha Lauttamus – Finland – 567k
Seat 2 – Kristian Kjondal – Norway – 740k
Seat 3 – Gino Alacqua – Italy – 660k
Seat 4 – Markus Golser – Austria – 352k
Seat 5 – Mikael Norinder – Sweden -- 1,036k
Seat 6 – Nedzib Suman – Sweden – 216k
Seat 7 – Dagomir Palovic – Slovakia -- 759k
Seat 8 – Johannes Strassmann – 245k
Seat 9 – Arnaud Mattern – France – 980k
The blinds will be 50,000/1,000 so there is plenty of poker left to play. Here are the payouts:
