While a shorstacked Arnaud ran JJ into KK on day 2, I was having a yoyo day going from 70k to 95k to 30k and back to 150k only to finish with 20 big blinds and 80k. On day 3 I held for as long as possible but finally got down to 10BB close to the money. I took a marginal call with KQo that ended up badly against AK.

Frustrating. Three days of my best poker only to finish 8 places before the money, on a hand that is probably a mistake (in depth analysis seems to show that it wins chips but looses EV overall).

On the upside two french people, both friends of teamrobusto, are very much alive with 40 people left. ElkY is amongst the big stacks and Jacques Zaicik is around the average. Good luck to them both, we're going to try our luck in the $3,000 side event and otherwise will be commenting the action on EPTlive.com while we're not suntanning!
