After internet investigation, I happily discover the first bad beat of day 2 (even before it started lol), contemplating stacks from 20K to 45k (mwahahahaha), only to find a stack of 155K, directly to my left (of course), and his owner being no one else than Darrel Dicken (AKA GIGABET).

I know that this animal will probably 3 bet light , and use the fact that 1)he covers 2)he has position 3) I have the second biggest stack, so he will tangle with me , try to build pots and steal them , put pressure etc etc.

MMhhhhh, sooo, 2 possible options: play tight-ass, and find a hand where I can commit my stack against him, but getting cards is not my forte yet , so I decided for the 2nd option, i.e. playing back with any 2 I would have decided to raise just to send a clear message and hopefully being able to play at the table without getting annoyed too much.

First hand I raise AKo UTG, (BB has 18BB), I raise it to 4.5 BB just to make it easy afterward, BB reraises with AA.I lose the pot.

Next hand I raise TT to 3k on the cutoff (85K stack), Gigabet reraises to 9K, I reraise to 30k, he thinks , and finally lays it down.It looks like I m gonna be able to play for a few hours now...

I raise QJ of hearts 3rd to act, Darrel calls , button calls , BB calls.

Flop is Q99.I bet 3/4, Giga calls , other fold.

Turn offsuit 6, I check call 15K.

River is another 9, making it very unikely that he has the case 9, so I decide not to value bet my full, but to let Darrel bluff the river (He apparently likes to bluff the other deep stacks.)

He bets 30k I snap call.He show KT of diamonds.

Now I run the table without anything, and manage to grow to 200K without any showdown ( which might look nice on the TV table héhé).

Now a few other young guns arrive at the table, Giga gets a rush (QQ paid off, bottom set vs 2 people ...etc) and builds it to 350K, teh table gets more aggro, so I decide to take it easy for a while and tighten up.

I finally raise KQs 3 to act, Gigabet calls in position ( I have 175K at the begginning of the hand, Giga has around 135K, he lost a few pots).

Flop is 852 from what I remember, no clubs , and I decide to go for a check raise bluff, because he will float my continuation bet.He checks behind.Turn is a small blank, I decide to go for the check raise again, he bets 12K, I raise it up to 36K, he tanks and calls.

River is an 8, pairing the top pair, and I bet 70k in the roughly 90K pot.

If he calls and is wrong he is left with around 25000, which leaves him crippled to blinds of 1200/2400.If he folds he keeps 100K, and can still play.

If he folds I get real big, and can get some momentum back.

He tanked for 5 minutes and finally called with a pair of 77...

I go down to 55K , find AA on the very next hand, raises to 7500 like I m pissed off because I got looked up on my bluff, get a caller on BB ( overaggro young player, not conscious of his image, and definitely bold in his moves), flop come 968 2 spades, he checks , I bet 14K to induce a shove, he pushes, I call , he tables 88 for a flopped set, blank on the turn, and weeeeeeee ace on the river!!!!!!!!!

No I m kidding.2 of clubs only.

Bah, doesnt feel very good to lose 200K chips in 5 minutes, but , maybe next year......
