Hi all,

here is a small trip report from my hollidays in Antibes, where I was invited in the EDEN ROC hotel (Cap d' Antibes) for 10 days by a friend of mine (highroller) who likes to play backgammon for high stakes against strong opposition...

A few weeks after winning the French Backgammon Championship (and being also number one rating in the french backgammon federation at the time), I guess I was the perfect candidate for him to try his luck against... :)

As we usually played only 3 hours a day in the afternoon, the rest of my time has been spent equally resting at the swimming pool, visiting Montecarlo and Cannes, and enjoying some friends that I invited to stay with me : Greg, on the first pictures, my best friend from school when we were kids, and Johannes, who is also one of my very good friends (and he is also a sick card shark, playing the highest stakes you can find , so beware !!! ).

All in all, good fun, night life was good too (It was fun to party at the Jimmy's in Montecarlo, seeing Bono from U2 and George Clooney surrounded by very attractive girls.....), so a very refreshing break for sure!
